Start in Mongeham, and head out to Ripple using the diagonal path across the fields heading towards Solley's farm. On reaching Ripple church, go through churchyard and out the back. Take the path to the right on going the the stile ut the back of the horse field, which will take you out toward the road near Ripple farm. On reaching the red postal box on the walk, you'll see a path on the left. Take this and it'll take you out into the farmer's field. Half way along it'll branch to the right, heading toward the mill on the hill in the distance. Go up this path, across railway tracks, up the hill on the other side, and on reaching the top, stop for a moment at The Nelson Seat. Head onwards on to Ripple and go through churchyard. Head east toward A 258 and go through Ringwold. Go across A 258 and locate footpath opposite and head toward The Lynch. Follow this route through woods uphill to Free Down. On exiting from the woods after Free Down, go left and head toward Kingsdown, going passed Hill Farm. Sadly a bit of road walking to Knights Bottom, but, half way down 300 yards approx. is a path that leads you out to the farmer's fields again. This takes you back to the A 258. Head for Coldblow, and go across railway tracks, forward 20 feet and see the path to the left leading out toward Ripple again. Half way along the path, take the route to the left, and you should see and be heading toward Ripple church spire. Then take the reverse route back to Mongeham as was the start of the walk.
